About the abortion movement fund

The Abortion Movement Fund is a rapid response vehicle which accepts large charitable gifts (> $5,000) from foundations, individuals, and private sector donors.   

These resources are deployed by and for the organizations providing practical support for abortion. 

Grants are made to 501(c)3 organizations providing practical support for abortion. These grassroots, hyper-local organizations (abortion funds or abortion practical support funds) are directly supporting and coordinating on behalf of people who need to access abortion care.

Direct gifts to practical support organizations are always ideal.   

This Fund exists to accept large charitable contributions, and to facilitate the rapid (within one week) deployment of resources to over 30 organizations in the US, in response to urgent needs or changing legal restrictions. 

No. Practical support for abortion is provided by independent grassroots organizations. 

Gifts of any size are needed and impactful.   Give directly to a practical support organization using this directory.
